I sold two poemies in the last 24 hours: "The Sixth Swan" is going to be in the Spring Flashquake and "Her Hero" is upcoming in Strange Horizons. With that, this month's cable and internet bill is taken care of and I feel much shinier. I hadn't sold a thing since November and it was making me...well, not especially down or lacking in confidence, but kind of edgy. Less than my usual jubilant self. :)
Also made a good dent in List yesterday: a lot of reading, a decent amount of cleaning, some errands, some Physics, etc. However, The List seems to grow a little every day. This is a little disturbing.
Not much List progress today (so far), but I've spent most of it dealing with the paperwork that selling stuff brings and bodily needs (food, shower). I have thought up an essay topic that kicks the ass of the last one I had in mind, so that's good. But the Physics assignment is staring me in the face, and I think it looks mocking. Might have to go to the coffeeshop or something to confront it with witnesses involved. I have to, however, do it today. Tomorrow and Friday are Roupen's days off, and if he's over the likelihood of work getting done drops to something near zero.
Still have to get words for today, too. Eeeg.
Will report tomorrow.
