Making Book and Miscellaneous Notes
Feb. 17th, 2004 02:45 pm700 words last night, as well as progress on several fronts of The List (which is being whittled down via strikethroughs on the original post). It doesn't look like much, yeah, but you read Great Expectations in a period of 24 hours, with breaks for sleep, drinking, Boy, and other amusements. Yeah. Thought so. Hmph. ;)
Already 50 or so pages into To The Lighthouse, which I hate: the style is so dense I can barely crawl through it, never mind read, and it's all self-referential. Ugh. Maybe I'll get used to it as we go. Maybe not.
Back to the 700 words. They're on the Toronto Book, which I was going to leave until Pritchard was done. But since Pritchard hasn't put out in a good while, I figured maybe it was time to move on. Maybe he'll get jealous and come back with verbiage and forward motion on the plot. Who knows? But I know surprisingly more about this new book than I thought I had, so no complaints here. I'll poke both today and see which one responds.

chance88088, an underwear report. Today, it is periwinkle purple with cool ribbony sides.
Did my first batch of slush for Ideomancer, and apparently all's good with that. I got the new-place jitters while doing it, but it might be easier to settle in than I thought. Which is good. :)
The Leafs beat Pittsburgh 8-4 last night, and lo, it was good. We'll see how they do tonight against Boston.
That's pretty much it: so back to Woolf, cleaning, working, etc. I go. I'm hoping to knock some more off that list today.
