March 3, 2010 Progress Notes:
"Stay"
Words today: 600.
Words total: 5550.
Reason for stopping: The Dayjob cometh early tomorrow morning, and I really don't need to short myself sleep and give my lungs more excuses to have loud, dramatic consumption.
Darling du Jour: Her tongue didn't want to move, and his eyes were so big, nighttime-big, raven's-feather big. All pupil, and dark.
Mean Things: Oh, my feet, my burning feet of fire. Redshirting innocent bystanders. Nom nom cannibalism.
Research Roundup: Persephone; wildlife of the Northwest Territories; Metis cultural identity.
Books in progress: Ann Patchett, The Magician's Assistant.
The glamour: Picked up Miss Lillian Lovelace Gish from Purolator, and a lot of OWW mail, and a lot of Ideo mail.
Hah. I have crested the narrative hill here: things are starting to show up that are details and closing lines and whatnot of the last three scenes, rather than me just being mired in the beginning and middle. The action's arcing down. I may actually finish this sometime soon, if I can stay on the mend and keep my wits about me.
All the news, she was in the last post, so I am going to take myself to bed and bid you all adieu.
(Oh hey, this means I can write in bed now. Sweet!)
