January 4, 2009 Progress Notes:
"Sugar"
Words today: 1400.
Words total: 13600.
Reason for stopping: Brain a bit scraped, so it's time to do something else now.
Books in progress: Iain M. Banks, Use of Weapons; Robert Graves, The Long Week-end.
The glamour: Apparently all-nightering is a great spur to action around here, because I have done five loads of laundry (sheets made two) and other mild chores, finally arranged for getting rid of the old printer that's been sitting in a corner for two years or more, untangled a knotty slush issue that arose mostly from me being stupid (and put precautions into place so it won't happen again), handled some mild Ideo maintenance work, and acquired these words. Soon, I shall crit too.
Progress of the All-Nighter: so far, so good. I am especially liking the bit where I have permitted myself a relaxation of the usual no-caffeine rule (it does bad, bad things to my sleep cycle and used to set off anxiety attacks, but hey, the whole point of this is my sleep cycle broke) and am drinking a whole pot of pomegranate sencha. Oh tea. I miss you, baby. One day I'll be able to love you good again.
I have a slight yawn, but I have chosen not to believe in it. Straight on 'til morning!
