Sympathy. My sister set her wedding date for the same day as the Nebula banquet one year. I rearranged my travel schedule, bought a dress, bought plane tickets to her city. Then she canceled the wedding.

I still speak to her. I hope your sister is more sensible than mine.

I spoke to mine last night at length -- it being a religious wedding, all my benchmarks about how a wedding goes are useless and I needed to ask many stupid questions -- and it looks like things will not actually be cancelled or moved. Despite the three-month prep period, they appear to have good plans in place. Which is beneficial to my personal blood pressure, as the person my mother speaks to when she's stressed. :p
