(Yes, I still carry the suffocation song in the back ends of my brain after all these years.)

Two stories made available today: thanks to [livejournal.com profile] kazdreamer, I can definitively tell you that The Mammoth Book of Extreme Fantasy is available in the UK. As you may recall, this is the one with fifteen kinds of cool people and then my "Lost Wax" off in the corner, wondering how the hell it snuck into this party.

Brits, pick it up! North Americans, you can't have it until August 4th, so envy the Brits some but consider a pre-order. *g*

The second is actually a free publication, so you can all have it right now: "Bell, Book, and Candle", which is in Clockwork Phoenix, the anthology that has cornered the market on awesome reviews this past week, has been posted at FantasyBookSpot as the "teaser" story for the anthology. So you can read this one gratis, and if you like it, here is the link for that book. It, too, is full of people much cooler than me. Funny how this works.

(If you don't like it, of course, you are welcome to come back here and throw rocks.)

Enjoy!

I'm still deciding how I feel about the story overall. In the meantime, I liked your descriptions of Candle when Bell and Book were looking for him. I'm also amused by Bell wearing a cloche. ^_^

I like cloches. :)

Also, I may e-mail you shortly re: that notetaking job you used to do if, that's all right?

Ooh, shiny! And I, too, am amused by Bell's cloche.

Fun story! I love the atmosphere. And most cool how they picked yours as the teaser. I consider myself teased. :D

I love this story. It's going to linger with me a long time. I had to crack the mold of my imagination to take everything in. I was seduced, saddened and illuminated.

Please keep us notified of further publication.

Yay! Glad you liked it!

All the publication stuff is over on the official website (http://www.leahbobet.com), but I do tend to announce stories coming out here too. :)
