And home from Ad Astra. Or, well, I was early yesterday evening, but an unscheduled 15-hour nap took precedence over LJ announcements. Con was good -- both bookstore work and the game ksumnersmith, thesandtiger, and I (with assists from the teacher's-college-beleaguered dolphin__girl) ran to launch Misspelled went very well -- but I came home pretty much exhausted and of little brain.

Having napped, had lunch and done some of my workshop work and e-mail and caught up tolerably on LJ...

Revise story what needs revising

Maybe rough out an outline for that Hard SF thing that came to one in bed last night Nope, it's been used in the Rama books. Trust not the ideas that appear at 2am between your nap sessions.
Make more roasted garlic oil

I'm sorry I missed the Misspelled hijinx. Sounds like it was fun. I had intended to at least make the launch, but instead ended up in one of those hallway conversations that are the true soul of cons.

I dunno if it would have been interesting to people who hadn't played the game, didn't know any of the authors, or weren't into that particular kind of story. Mostly the authors and stories got introduced, the prizes were given out, there were cupcakes, and books got signed. But in an amusing way!
