January 20, 2008 Progress Notes:
"The Murdered Woman Comes Home"
Words today: 125.
Words total: 250.
Reason for stopping: Draft. Yeesh. Had to write the third stanza like ten times. I think my sentence-level work is going through a skill jump or something. Everything is hard.
Liquid Refreshment: Water.
Munchies: Oh my. We had dinner at Fieramosca tonight, and there was caprese salad and mushroom agnolotti in gorgonzola cream sauce with truffle oil and a tiramisu as big as your head, and wine and tea and water. Mmph. :)
Exercise: N/A.
Mail: Nomail.
Darling du Jour: Can't really darling poems.
Tyop du Jour: N/A
Words MS Word Doesn't Know: N/A
Mean Things: Severe unfairness. But we put it to work.
Research Roundup: Yƫrei again. A few specific kaidan.
Books in progress: Fagles tranlsation of The Iliad. I gave up on finishing these readings in time at about six tonight. We'll have to make do on what I've read.
The glamour: My planned strike campaign of laundry and dishes and class reading was scuttled this afternoon by the forces of Being A Girl. Alas.
I think I may have undershot the point here, but
stillnotbored assures me it's just fine, and I will trust her word.
Today I have had the strong desire to cut school, run away, and join the circus. Wherein I will be able to write as many novels as I like, just let them wash over me like tidal waves and eat my brains all up like they want to, and live happily ever after. I am told the word for this is senioritis. Oh, I am itching to have a Real Life again.
Nonetheless, I should probably go to class tomorrow. Alas.
So I am going to bed.
Alas.

Date: 2008-01-22 12:50 pm (UTC)Do you think that they'd hate someone who came in just for dessert?
I think that I shall have to give this place a try.
