The glamour: I got three pieces of mail today. Two of them required me to call up a company and talk to them about Doin It Rong. Unamused.

Oh look, we have found the scenes that need to be completely rewritten from scratch as to not create a tensionless, misdirecting, broken-subtext bomb crater of a mess.

Honeymoon couldn't last forever, I guess.

74 pages to go, and then I can enter these changes into an official second draft and rewrite those damn scenes (and maybe this whole chapter, seriously, this is not the Secret Underground Mutated-and-Disabled Society Presents: Scooby-Doo) and send it to critpeople and go play with all the other ideas that are whispering around my head this week, being so much cooler than the book I have to revise.

(Give me the epidural! I don't care how long the needle is! You put this in me!)
