Good Luck (I remember my first) - remember to be a really mean b###h and use lots of legal words and legal threats and if they ignore you post it on their blog part so others can read it too (I've done that one too) - remember to have a teensy bit of fun too.

I opted for the polite, explanatory note first strategy. After all, the working-in-a-bookstore thing has really brought home how little people know about publishing. It's entirely likely the poster has no clue they've essentially committed reprint.

I'm saving outrage for the possibility that the thing's ignored. I mean, they did put my name and copyright notice on it, so I suspect they're trying to be respectful, just...don't have the kind of information on what's fair use and what's not that those of us reading BoingBoing do.
