Every time you check a Flyer to the boards, an angel gets its wings.


Also, it would be appreciated if the gentle art of professional hockey was forgotten by the Hurricanes and Bruins tonight.

And oooh, that'd be awesome depending on who was playing. THe Rangers themselves aren't much of a draw IMO, not since the Talent Fire Sale before the strike.

Oh, how I wish I cared enough about the Flyers to throw down with you... but I don't, so I won't. While Philly fans are definitely passionate about our teams, we're also rather realistic and know when they suck... so... here's hoping you're happy at the end of the season.

Hee. I'm surprised about it. The Flyers were woo scary for us for a few good years there: I'm not sure where that went.

I don't think we have the team that goes all the way this year, but so long as we make the playoffs -- and preferably take the Sens out while we're there -- I will be well-pleased. ;)

Yeah, I have to admit to being surprised, too. Last year I thought we were pretty good, but this year we suck with a capital Suck. In fact, in early January, the Eagles had more wins (10) than both the Flyers and the 76ers, despite playing less than half as many games. That's just sad.

Well...long-term I think Roenick leaving had a serious effect. I mean, I was and am not a fan of the guy, but he was a presence on that team.

Current rumours have the Leafs eyeing Milan Hejduk and Marek Svatos of the Avalanche. If the Leafs get Hejduk, they have the sniper they've always wanted and an ace in the hole for those damn shootouts.
