Back from Ad Astra about an hour and a half ago, and for weekend-long social whirls, that was a remarkably laid-back time. We did our panels and readings, meandered about, fell in and out of conversations with many of the usual suspects (it is good to see the usual suspects and spend quality time), and just generally took it easy. I can't say if it was a bigger or smaller or what con than last year, but it was quite nice.

I was a Bad Writergirl and bought a black and white pinstriped denim underbust corset. Bad writergirl! Bad, bad, terribly fashionable writergirl!

There are a few hours of weekend left, and I think I shall use them reading my slush, tidying my kitchen, and maybe, hopefully, plinking down a few words.
