There's clearly a whole bunch of laws of nature (closely related to Murphy's and possibly to bumblebees and flight as well) about knitting. My favorite *cue sarcasm*: how can a garment fit fine one day and then not fit the next, without anything happening in between? It's related to the Yarn Harlot's black hole, I just know it.

I'm now convinced I would like to read a Bellwether-esque story about someone researching knitting science, but it might have an audience of one.

(I do forget the ripping once the sweater fits, though. At least enough to start another.)
