Reason for stopping: Dinnertime.
Darling du Jour: A battalion of uniformed ground crew swarms over it, rappelling off the same thick cables they're using to tie it down. "Left leg is secure!" a man with a tablet calls, and stories above, the cockpit opens.
Research Roundup: Ginger cats; classroom cleaning chores in Japan; broken rib symptoms; the hardness of volcanic rock.
Books in progress: Naomi Mitchison, Travel Light.
It is a very important thing, apparently, not to puke in your robot cockpit. Oops.
I will leave it at that, because P. has made stirfry for dinner, and it (and he) are waiting.
