But my mind holds the key.
Nov. 3rd, 2011 12:17 amNovember 2, 2011 Progress Notes:
"Five Autopsies"
Words today: 450.
Words total: 1200.
Reason for stopping: Bedtime for work nights.
Books in progress: Charles Yu, How to Live Safely in a Science-Fictional Universe.
Not as fall-into-bed tired today, thankfully. Things actually got done when I got home: the picking up of the CSA, and a load of laundry, and the making of duck egg eggnog and potato-leek soup and fried rice with mushrooms and leeks and withered dark greens of some sort in it.
The soup pretty much went straight to the freezer. There are only two weeks left of CSA. I have to freeze things while the freezing's good, so I don't die of scurvy come January.
More words -- and probably more cooking -- tomorrow. For some reason, I have that urge to order this week: maybe it's all those hostel and hotel rooms, clean and tidy.
