Also, it really says something about national culture that I am perfectly comfortable with assenting to that, but if I was in the US and that read 'I authorize Blood Services to disclose my information to the FBI' I would be like no way in hell, guys.

In the event that Canadian Blood Services is unable to locate me and has identified me as a potential match for a patient, I authorize Canadian Blood Services to disclose my information to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) for the purpose of locating me through database searches.
