From the donor agreement for the Canadian Bone Marrow Registry:

In the event that Canadian Blood Services is unable to locate me and has identified me as a potential match for a patient, I authorize Canadian Blood Services to disclose my information to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) for the purpose of locating me through database searches.

Wow. Blood Services, not kidding there.

Also, it really says something about national culture that I am perfectly comfortable with assenting to that, but if I was in the US and that read 'I authorize Blood Services to disclose my information to the FBI' I would be like no way in hell, guys.

(Yes, I am now a bone marrow and stem cell donor. If you are dying of a related illness, I hope to be able to help with that in the future.)
--okay, guys? Bridesmaid dresses.

Where, how, and generally how much?

(It's a mid-fall wedding and I need to either have sleeves to the elbow or a jacket at least to the elbow, and ankle-length/floor-length hem. Colour is not an object.)
