Thud: Above
Jul. 4th, 2008 01:49 amJuly 3, 2008 Progress Notes:
Above
Words today: 1500.
Words total: 63,500 MS Word, 77,000 SMF.
Reason for stopping: Quota and good 'nuff.
Munchies: Mandarin oranges with cottage cheese, the last of the chartreuse.
Darling du Jour: Atticus would say that Whitecoats have poor writing 'cause they don't want no-one knowing from the dirt that makes their deeds, but I'm worn and Jack's tired and I don't think now's the time.
(Matthew, bringing the snark!)
Words Matthew Won't Admit to Knowing: lest. That may just be a me-word.
Mean Things: Walking directly into the lion's den, that being a hospital.
Research Roundup: N/A.
Books in progress: Robertson Davies, The Lyre of Orpheus.
The glamour: Job-applying, interview, a quick pop out for tea and crepes with
ginny_t and
sarcasm_hime, and a veritable fuckton of notes and reading work for a novelette to-be-written soonish.
Today was seriously eventful on several fronts, but it's all things half-done. So I'll save them for when they're all-done, if they make it there at all, and take myself to bed instead. For I am overheated, yea, and underslept, and my sleep cycle is off again.
