Jun. 29th, 2007 12:47 amJune 28, 2007 Progress Notes:
Above
Words today: 1350.
Words total: 12,050 MS Word.
Reason for stopping: Cycled down on the energy, and hey, it's almost 1am.
Liquid Refreshment: Iced blackcurrant tea.
Munchies: Tuna casserole, one of five things I cooked today.
Exercise: N/A.
Mail: Nomail.
Darling du Jour: One day Atticus was putting boxes and boxes of books about falling in love on the old shelves of the bookshop and the world tilted a way he'd never seen before. He was used to it tilting bright or dark: where after a book about architects the corners of building would be brighter, or the alleyways darker after reading 'bout unsolved murders. This time he'd been reading nothing but fairy stories, but the world went dark and he saw fire, fire at the centre of everything, building and yanking itself upwards into a mountain of light.
Then he fell down off the ladder and cracked his head.
Tyop du Jour: N/A
Words MS Word Doesn't Know: N/A
Mean Things: Welcome to the PTSD, and please enjoy your stay.
Research Roundup: None.
Books in progress: Tim Powers, Expiration Date
The glamour: About four seperate dishwashing excursions, after I made the tuna casserole, the guatemlan sweet buns, the iced tea, the rice...
Well, at least I'm not in danger of going hungry this week. :p
Been trying to make this work for days -- lately, I'm just of too little brain for much of anything -- and then finally said screw it, I'll write 100 words. That's nothing. And then when I hit 100 we said okay, we'll write 200. And so on and so forth until it all burst out.
Ha ha brain, I fool you. :D
Bed now.
