Mar. 2nd, 2007

Woke up this morning in the middle of a dream where Pringles flavours were being used as aids to a history lecture. Apparently sour cream and onion is for the Greeks, then we were to segue into salt and vinegar. I'm wondering if the vinegar is some sort of smartassed subconscious Christian-era metaphor.

Also woke up to see four of the thinner trees outside were blown over during the night. Which explains what the crack-bang noises at 3am were. There are split trees and fallen branches littered all over the snow.

Headed off to Ad Astra this afternoon, where I will be the sleepy, friendly person behind the Bakka-Phoenix Books table, pushing ur bookcrack. I will also (sort of) be a panelist for the following:

There's more than you think going on UNDER COVER OF DARKNESS. One of the secret societies in this anthology of conspiracies is real -- and they're using it to pass sinister messages. Help crack the conspiracy this weekend at Ad Astra with puzzles, a scavenger hunt, and secrets galore, starting at 9:00pm in Salon 443.

Yup, it's an interactive game. :) There are prizes! And while I know nothing about any conspiracies, no sir, I can tell you that this will be awesome.

I'll see you there what're going to be there, and everyone else...play safe. :)
