Rosemary, For Rememberance Update:

Words today: 1000.
Words total: 5000.
Reason for stopping: Need to crit and hunt myself some dinner.
Tea: Pomegranate green tea (bottled).
Munchies: Raspberries that were in the icebox, which I was probably saving for baking. Forgive me: they were delicious etc. etc.
Exercise: Walking the dog while up at my parents' place today.
Mail: Nomail.
Other Writing-Related Work: About to crit.
Darling du Jour: Mary hung the two sprigs of rosemary from her rafters with bits of string, knitting-ends salvaged from the street after a coven of grandmothers spent one spring evening knitting by the fountain in Progress Square. They dangled in the slanted shadows that fell through her window, breaking up the light with their teeth.
Tyop du Jour: N/A
Words MS Word Doesn't Know: N/A
Mean Things: Some revolution, the bringing of prohibited arms into one's house, a bit more on the head-kicking, peer pressure. This is hard when the book is jumping around like a spastic frog all over fifteen years of timeline.
Books in progress: Hal Duncan, Vellum

If I could get two paragraphs that followed one to the other, I could post some of this on the 'shop. But this is not so. The book is not quite unsexy yet, but it might be playing hard to get.

In other news, I want paella but lack most of the ingredients involved. I could also be persuaded to want noodles or dumplings from Chinatown. The crown may appoint a commission shortly to sort out what I will realistically be having for dinner.
