--1000 words last night on the Tower story, to finish it. And I think I did find the right ending -- for her. It's still not the right ending for me, but I'm glad one of us feels better. *wry grin* This is the first short I've finished since March, the month when novels ate my brains. Feels good.

Today is Canuckistani Thanksgiving, so will shortly be off to the house of the

sandwichboy's parents to be the boy's prep slave. We don't have a turkey, but two muscovy ducks -- boy doesn't like cooking turkey, and I like eating duck (privileges of being the people who actually cook the Thanksgiving dinner). Dessert is still under debate, but I'm sure we'll have it worked out by the time we get there.
