Toronto Book Update:

Pages edited today: 80
Pages remaining: 147
Reason for stopping: Eyes watering from reading, head scraped clean, tired tired tired
Tea: Actually coffee this time -- Vietnamese iced coffee
Munchies: Spring rolls, fried bananas and honey
Exercise: walking to the restaurant where I edited. And back. Lookit me. *g*

So that was three hours of my yesterday. Now that I've finally stopped being scared of this and printed it out to mark it up, it's surprisingly easy. The first 25 pages don't have the voice down and are kind of stiff, but it starts to move after that, and I was sitting by myself in the window table snickering at things I forgot I wrote. Ehe.

When I got the bill, the cute waiter boy asked what the book was about. I thought for a minute and said: "Magic. And hockey."

No book today, because [livejournal.com profile] sandwichboy and I are going to the CNE to ride rides, eat cotton candy, and have the boy win me stuffed animals so I can squeak in a circa-1960 manner. And then we are going to see Hero with a whole whack of people. And this is the closest thing to a social life I've had all week so it's mine! Bwaha!

More later.
