So what you're saying is, we all love to know what the famous apes are doing, but our immediate ape peer group scorns knowing anything about the famous apes. So we pretend not to care, all while caring very much and not really being able to avoid it?
I care about what happens to Paris Hilton. Wish I didn't, but I know better than to struggle against the celebrity-attention part of my brain. It's just an ape thing, in my opinion.
