June 6, 2006 Progress Notes:
Rosemary, For Remembrance
Words today: 1000.
Words total: 15,500.
Reason for stopping: I had to pushpushpush for the last 200. And I want ice cream now.
Tea: Moroccan mint.
Munchies: Chicken tikka masala, steamed green beans, rice.
Exercise: Quick walk to the post office today.
Mail: Nomail.
Other Writing-Related Work: More plotting forward, a whole bunch of queries launched.
Darling du Jour: "Who else'm I gonna run around with in Progress Square?" she asked, and snatched up a bouquet of dinner forks.
Tyop du Jour: ...from moth Mary and her mother. Woo alliteration!
Words MS Word Doesn't Know: N/A
Mean Things: The seeing of disapproved-of boys being found out, beginnings of a good brawl.
Books in progress: Tobias S. Buckell, Crystal Rain; Martha Wells, City of Bones
Yes, I am hopping between book and the stories just to confuse you. *g*
Feeling somewhat better today, although the tact-o-meter is still not calibrated just right. Will probably start digging out from under the e-mail tomorrow, along with the laundry and some other things I couldn't polish off today.
And now I am going to get ice cream, because
ringwoodcomics has some and taunted me about it, and I have to Show Him Good.
