I agree, there is that myth. And I do think some of *my* problems with work come from my parents hating their own jobs and heavily implying there was nothing positive about adulthood. And basically, to them, if anyone went around talking about how happy and fulfilled they were, that person was a braggart and probably on drugs. So tearing down is in my blood... I'm trying not to do it as often, though, at least out loud. :)

I figure my job situation will improve when I don't work at a desk. Fuck, even fast food would be better than being chained to a desk all day. Although hopefully I won't have to do either some day!
