With both the writing and the parenting, I get a lot of "Well, your husband IS a _____" so as to completely disregard any contribution, financial or otherwise, I make. And it's a very weird balance of "how cute, you write because you don't have anything better to do while at home with your kid!" and "how long did it take you to write/publish that book, because I'm totally thinking about doing the same thing." Then, yanno, HULKSMASH. *L*
