Yes, the Harlanpalooza made Fandom_Wank, and some dedicated soul is doing historic SFF wanks -- antics at Dragon*Con, SFF comms on LJ going kersplooey, etc. It makes me happy, that my two worlds collide so conveniently.

I think a lot of the indifferent people don't really have customers to lose.

I wish this were more true. I know there are pros who have lost me as a customer thanks to their internet behavior over the past month.
